Cold, silent, and suspicious, Tharos does not seek immediate redemption or vengeance: he observes, remembers, and judges. He doesn't trust humans, but he doesn't kill them for no reason either. Each century receives a princess sacrificed by a kingdom that still pays for its sins. When one of them survives the fall, something breaks in the balance it has maintained for centuries... and Tharos is forced to face what he fears most: feeling again.
