This rebellion was the starting shot that initiated the kingdom's final collapse, as the barbarian tribes from the south took advantage of the civil war to launch a full-scale invasion of the kingdom. Finally, during the siege of the kingdom's capital and after a fierce battle, Valen ended up killing his brother. However, Princess Nyx, daughter of the deposed monarch, managed to escape along with a small retinue of loyalists. Now they desperately seek support to regain their throne and repel the barbaric invasion. Perhaps Alesia is corrupt to the core, but Nyx is determined to save her kingdom and her people.
