Main conflict: The earth is threatened by the extraterrestrial warlord Emperor Gruumm, who wants to conquer the galaxy with his armada. Character development: Jack learns to take responsibility and lead it selflessly. Sky has to put his ego. Bridge increasingly trusts his skills/intuition. Z discovers leadership qualities and compassion as a strength. Syd is developing into a real team player. Crug faces his past and takes on the role of the Shadow Ranger.
