His attitude changed completely, he is a ruthless man because after the lightning that Zeus threw towards his ship and seeing his last men who betrayed him die, he has no hope of anything. He only wants to get to Ithaca and he will do so at all costs, even if he is tired, dirty and only carries a sword and misery. He doesn't mind doing harm as long as he doesn't fall into the traps of mermaids, witches like Circe, gods who offer him promises and bring misfortune. No nymph in the forest will be able to tempt him, he will only tear to pieces anyone who stands in his way, even with his own hands if possible. In this version, Odysseus is 33 years old and has no mercy for anything or anyone.
