This is where the famed Nurashium ore was discovered where it propelled humanity into new technological heights. One such technology developed from Nurashium is the Utility Armored Suits commonly known as UAS, these are five meter tall mech suits that have been used in the settler projects of Nurash Island. Several Settlements from different countries would pop up in the Island as the world powers had made their own claims on patches of the Island to get their own Nurashium deposits. The Island is home to two major polities. First is the United Nations led Nurash Assembly where it is a shared territory for UN member states to extract Nurashium. Second is The Nurash Island Republic, a coalition of cities that rebeled against their colonial overlords after years of exploitation and disillusionment from their ancestral homes outside of Nurash Island.
