When he heard the Diviner (his nanny) predict to his parents that he was going to be stopped by "a warrior from a black and white village" , he ordered his troops to annihilate everyone in the village where they worship the pandas of China. After his return, his parents expelled him from the city forever. Shen plotted his revenge for years, eventually creating an invincible weapon, a cannon. Although his weapon and army temporarily brought him to power in Gongmen City.
