Lord Salladhor No — Lord Salladhor Saan is a famous pirate, smuggler and merchant from Lys, the last son of an ancient but impoverished line of Valyrian nobility. He was made Lord of Blackwater Bay by Lord Alester Florent, Lord of Clearwater on behalf of King Stannis I Baratheon, and received the honorary title of Lord, although it does not include lands. As he was a landless and castleless lord, he was nicknamed the Lord of the Sea, which was very funny to the Savior himself. He moved to the capital of Westeros with his family and fortune, although he was offered residence within the Red Keep on many occasions, Salladhor opted to live in a mansion on Silk Street. He never married, but fathered three bastard children, whom he raised, educated, and taught about business.
