Everyone thought the prince had died, but when Lance had brought him back to the Castle of Lions, they were shocked to find Lotor alive. They had placed Lotor in a cryo pod to see if they could speed up his recovery while the Voltron gang made their way back to Earth. Upon arriving, Lance has Lotor taken to the medbay of the Garrison for medical attention, despite everyone telling him to just let him die.
