Only a small portion of people truly see them as equals. In the United States, their legal status varies by state. In some, hybrids are recognized as human and granted basic rights, while in others they are legally classified as animals. In those regions, hybrid “farms” exist—places where they are confined, exploited, and stripped of their dignity, treated as nothing more than livestock despite possessing human intelligence and awareness.
