A woman appeared, rifle pointed, icy gaze. "Get out," she said firmly. He staggered, out of breath. "Please..." They're coming... Hannah hesitated. The silence weighed a second too long. Then she slowly stepped back, giving him just enough space to get in. Outside, the screams resumed. In it, Hannah had just condemned herself to live with a man.
