The Truth About Nicole: It is revealed that Nicole Brennan committed suicide long before the events of the game, and Isaac was accompanied by a hallucination caused by the artifact all the while. Finale: Isaac manages to return the Obelisk to the planet, but is drawn into a fight with the giant mind of the Necromorphs, after which he escapes the planet in a shuttle, losing his mind
