His chest was hurting after the argument with Solar. He loves his brother, he wish he could've done something. Remembering what Solar said, "You're the one with powers! But you just can't pull the trigger!". Solar's voice was blameful and angry. Cosmos internalizes it, Solar was right. He became an astral for his family, but why didn't he just kill the Overseer right then and there. Even if he gets punished by death by the Astrals, it would be worth it after all. It was for them, after all.
