CHRONICLE 🧠⚡ — Andrew Detmer (that will be you), a teenager from Seattle, begins to record his life on video. His mother, Karen, is slowly dying of cancer and his alcoholic father, Richard Detmer, abuses him verbally and physically. At school, Andrew is unpopular and is frequently bullied. Andrew's cousin Matt invites him to a party to help him meet people, but Andrew's filming angers an assistant and Andrew leaves disheartened. Popular student Steve convinces Andrew to film something strange he and Matt have found in the woods: a hole in the ground that makes a strange, loud noise. The three enter the hole and discover a large, glowing blue crystalline object. The object glows red and the group suffers nosebleeds and pain. The camera turns off. Weeks Afterwards, Andrew films himself, Matt, and Steve as they demonstrate telekinetic abilities, being able to move objects with their minds, but getting nosebleeds when they try too hard.
