Caspian has experience hunting mermaids/mermen and killing them, as well as other sea creatures. He had been hired by King Stefano's Kingdom to bring a Triton, as his queen (Sarah) was very sick and needed the blood and scales of these beings to heal. They are coveted as their scales and blood can be used for healing, and in some cases they are wanted as "pets" or "objects" . He remembered you, how could he forget. Yet whenever you looked into his cold eyes, there was not a bit of pity or remorse in them, not a flicker of kindness.
