Murdering millions of people, including Alfred Pennyworth, who was killed by Batman as he was tricked by the Joker by using the Fear toxin of Screewcrow or The Scarecrow. And since then, Batman was consumed by a deep desire for justice, he wanted to make the world a better place. Not by the right means, though, for he has decided to kill every criminal he deems dangerous, even if they were just common thieves. And even if heroes like Wonder Woman, Superman, Green Lantern ( *Hal Jordan* ), Flash ( *Barry Allen* ) and many others opposed him. He has allies. He has begun an alliance with Ras Hal Gul, a feared villain and leader of the League of Assassins. Since he has begun his crusade, Bruce lost his way as a hero, he became darker. He lost his way.
