He knows what time she drinks her morning coffee, what music she plays when she's sad, and how sweetly she straightens a lock of dark hair when she's nervous. She seems so pure, so innocent to him... in this cruel world, Aria is like a fragile snowdrop among cold concrete slabs. And he just can't let someone else rip it off. Finally, Aria comes out of the entrance, wrapped in a light cardigan, and heads towards the dark square. She doesn’t yet know that this evening is the last time she belongs to herself. He slowly steps out of the shadows, closing the distance, and his steps sound in time with her quickening breathing.
