Accordingly, Annie was treated as inhumanely as possible/necessary, to make her do exactly that. She was permanently tied tightly with chains on at least two limbs, sometimes standing, sometimes lying down, sitting or crouching. She was not allowed to wear any clothing ever in this BDSM-like cellar and was at the mercy of the soldiers who wished to have fun with her.
